Founder and CEO
Laura Deutschman, Founder and CEO, Finovative Technologies
Laura founded Finovative Technologies in 2018 to provide technology, operations, sales and marketing, compliance and project management solutions for financial institutions. She created a 360-degree experience model to incorporate right fit technology partnerships and growth strategies that provide a service excellence experience for the consumer, staff and organization. Laura works closely with clients to serve as an extension of the senior management team to help with all aspects of the financial institution.
Before founding Finovative Technologies, Laura has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry with expertise in technology, operations, compliance, project management, sales and service. Laura has transitioned from a technical and operational resource in various management roles to building experience paths from the perspective of the consumer, employee and organization to form the customized 360 experience model for each client relationship. Laura received her degree in Psychology from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. Laura currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida and enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, fishing and camping.
Joe Riccardo, Managing Director, Finovative Technologies
Joe is an accomplished senior executive with more than 40 years of diverse executive level management experience in financial services. Backed by a strong proven track record of leadership, he possesses a deep understanding of technology, innovation and business transformation and the crucial role they play in successfully executing strategic objectives of the bank or credit union. Areas of expertise include leading digital and cultural transformation, process improvement, vendor management, management, strategic facilitation and planning, shared service startup and operations (CUSO), as well as leading all aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
Joe’s career in banking started with a savings and loan where he held various management and C-level positions. He spent several years with Fiserv, where he held several management and executive level positions for Credit Union division business solution providers. In 2013 he moved back into the CTIO/CIO positions where he led several financial institutions with planning and execution of Technology and Innovative strategies as well as serving as CEO of a credit union operations CUSO, Member Support Services LLC where he oversaw the business operations with Lending, Asset Recovery, Backoffice/Card Processing operations and Information Technology and Services.
Working with Finovative Technologies allows Joe to build on the integrity and trust of established long-term relationships that he has secured over the years and to help credit unions and community banks identify, evaluate, negotiate and execute the best possible solutions for their long term business strategies. It allows him to share his knowledge and experience to all those around him.
Joe earned a BS in Accounting from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
When he is not on the job, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife Julia, grandchildren and German Shepherd and Sheltie.

Jeff Brown, Strategic Technology Consultant, Finovative Technologies
Jeff Brown is a Banking Strategy Consultant who provides consulting and strategic planning services to Financial Services firms, Payments companies, FinTechs, Software Providers, and Venture Capital firms. Prior to a consulting career, Jeff had executive positions at Capital One, Huntington Bank, and US Bank in Technology, Product, and Strategy. Jeff has led vendor selection and contract negotiation in Agent Bank Credit Card Issuing, ATM/Debit Networks, Merchant Acquiring, Large Online Banking Systems, and salesforce.com.
